ACT has been designed to meet the increasing needs of newly qualified pilots to better prepare them for airline applications, airline interviews, simulator assessments and employment as an airline pilot.
Our tailored training sessions prepare qualified pilots for airline employment simulator assessment profiles as well as gain the necessary personal confidence and skills to secure the desired jet flying job.
After the announcement of VA’s new Airline Career Training (ACT) course in May, we are pleased to announce completion of our very first course. Attended by newly graduated APS MCC cadets - and delivered by Ruth Spalding, an experienced airline recruitment professional - the course proved to be a success in preparing them for their search for airline employment, equipping them with the necessary personal skills for airline applications, interviews and assessments.
To celebrate and promote our new approved training partnership with Ryanair and launch of an exciting new Mentored APS MCC course, we're opening the doors to our Airline Training Centre at Cambridge Airport on Sunday 14th July.
Our new ACT course has been designed to meet an increasingly important need to ensure that newly qualified pilots are also trained in a number of key interpersonal skills previously considered outside the scope of traditional flight training courses.
